We had our monthly Cookbook Club event this weekend (on which I think Bets will be reporting soon enough) , and everyones’ dogs were invited to the festivities! This is what happened when a pork dish was introduced:

The Kincaids are completely, 100% awesome. Bets and I headed down there this weekend til Tuesday. The January weather was kind to us (with a hint of rain – an homage to Seattle), the Kincaid clan was superbly entertaining, and a special friend came with us – Mamz! Mamz has been insisting she come to Austin so she could hang out with the kids whilst Lin and Chris took some parental time off. Overall, as always, we had a fantastic time, and only wish the Kincaids lived closer. The same goes for the Hauenbells, the Hauensteins, the Koerners/Hensons and everyone else in the fam. Dang it.

The only thing I wish we’d documented was all of us together, but that will have to wait til next time! Next up, our Hawaii Honeymoon at the end of this month! And after that (hopefully), a visit to the Hauenbells with their new Baby Hauenstein!
