Infographic of the Week

Okay, so this might require a few weeks/months of tweaking and might not happen every single week, but I decided that there are too many cool infographics like this that need to be shared.

Bets also might lecture me on the legality of posting someone else’s work on this site and not getting their full consent to do so, but I’ll also work on that (by actually asking people), and will always supply the artist’s name and website for more perusing if you’re interested.

Animal Music Sunday – Dr. Carter

I haven’t paid much attention to Lil Wayne and his numerous albums til quite recently. His album “Tha Carter III” released in 2008 is impressive, and that’s the simplest explanation I can give for it. I’m usually not too interested in hip-hop that simply talks about money and women, but his goes much farther than that, and his lyrics are comparable to the best rappers in history. Here’s “Dr. Carter” from the album mentioned above.

And for the record, Oly sleeps more than any other dog I know, but he looks good doing it.

And also for the record, those Saint Bernards like snow. Thanks to Katy for sharing.

Animal Music Sunday – Dog Helicopter

Bets’ co-worker (and my former rommate) Colin watched this video and related the sound to a “dog helicopter.” Please listen and see if you agree with the comparison.

Another question is: why the hell are there so many Saint Bernards in one place?

In musictown, here’s a hypnotizing tune from James Blake – I highly recommend his live performance on KEXP.
